The last time I made the connection between Audio Mastering and a haircut, it was several months ago. I like the analogy because even though I’m in the trenches at the Studio and see all the fine details of it, Mastering is still a simple service. And no matter how you mix it, it’s still more about how a studio like SoundOps treats its clients… I was editing the newest videos I had recorded in the car (editing at home – recorded in the car), when I had an epiphany. I just didn’t look right. My hair wasn’t marketable. I mean, how could I be a relevant studio guy with a do like Donald Trump?!
